Ringcladdy Barn is large-group self-catering accommodation in County Down, ideal for family gatherings and organised group stays near Strangford Lough.
Set in the Lecale countryside with easy access to Strangford, Castle Ward and the coast, the Barn provides comfortable accommodation for up to 24 people. An adjacent cottage can sleep a further 8 people, making it a useful option for even larger groups.
Ringcladdy Barn is well suited to family gatherings, walking and cycling groups, youth and community group stays, school or educational outdoor trips, activity weekends near Strangford Lough, and larger groups needing flexible self-catering space.

Nearby Castle Ward Estate offers plenty to do, while Kilclief beach is only two miles away along a quiet country road. Bicycle and canoe hire is readily available in the local area, including electric bikes.
The Barn kitchen is set up to make self-catering for large groups straightforward. It has a separate entrance and is fully equipped with a 5 ring cooker, 3 ovens, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, clothes washer/drier, cutlery, crockery, glasses and cookware.
Two toasters, a microwave and a large electric kettle complete the kitchen equipment, while the kitchen's position beside the dining area makes serving and shared meals easy to manage.
There are four bedrooms: two sleeping 10 people each and two sleeping 2 each, which helps larger groups stay together while still giving leaders or organisers some privacy.
All beds are full-sized bunk beds and bedding is provided, with towels available on request. Bedrooms are centrally heated, extra blankets are supplied in all rooms, and each bed has a shelf with a double socket for charging phones and other essentials.
The rates are £20 per person per night, with a minimum charge of £260 per night for groups of 13 or fewer.
